Safeguarding
Our children and young people
As Christians we are charged to love and care for each other.
This is particularly true where the most vulnerable are concerned.
Children and young people have specific needs, which
can be met by the Church if its members respond to the call to
be Christ’s people, living in His way. This means living in today’s
world amongst its problems and challenges, recognising that
some of these will be challenges for the Church itself.
We aim to:-

Ensure that children are growing up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care

Educate and empower children and protect them from maltreatment

Prevent impairment of children's health or development

Undertake that role so as to enable those children to have optimum life chances and enter adulthood successfully
