Steven Goulden, tenor

Praised for his "great character, impeccable diction and a fine robust tenor" (Alan Blyth, London Evening Standard), Steven Goulden has performed to critical acclaim across the UK and abroad.

Steven studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with international tenor John Mitchinson, graduating with distinction. He has performed at venues including the the Royal Festival Hall, Die Doelen (Netherlands) and St John's Smith Square, singing under the baton of some of the finest conductors including Sir Simon Rattle and Sir Mark Elder.

Steven regularly guests with choral and musical societies nationwide, as well as performing at private functions and outdoor concerts such as Proms in the Park. His extensive repertoire ranges from opera, oratorio, Lieder and art song to jazz and musical theatre, and he also sings the tenor solo in works such as Mendelssohn’s Elijah and Handel’s Messiah.


Amy Butler, piano

Amy Butler studied with Diana Bushby and internationally-acclaimed concert pianist Martin Roscoe. She gained the highest mark nationally in her Grade 8 piano examination aged 14 and was awarded the ABRSM Music Performance Diploma at the age of 18, as well as receiving a young musician’s bursary from the Cottingham Music Recital Club.

She studied for four years at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, where she won a choral scholarship and was a frequent soloist and accompanist, performing works ranging from Schubert's Erlkönig and Chopin's piano nocturnes to arrangements from Les Miserables. She graduated with a first class degree.

Amy now enjoys collaborating with choirs and soloists across the UK as well as performing as a chamber musician and solo recitalist.
