Elizabeth Kenwood studied oboe at the Royal Academy of Music, Rotterdam Conservatorium and the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada.

She won many prizes and held scholarships from the Countess of Munster and Rotary International. Her oboe teachers included Evelyn Rothwell Barbirolli, Tess Miller and George Caird.

She has performed in Canada, throughout Europe, toured South East Asia for the British Council, and has visited Ukraine six times to give recitals, teach inconservatoires and music schools and adjudicate for the Dmitro Byda International Woodwind Competition. She has performed throughout the UK for Music Societies and has performed a bass oboe recital at the International Double Reed Society Annual Conference.

She plays with orchestras as a freelance player (including the Sheffield Bach Choir) and teaches woodwind with a double reed specialism in schools throughout West Yorkshire.

Last month she played the Strauss Oboe Concerto with the Leeds Haydn players.

Peter Reasbeck studied piano with Elsie Werren in Doncaster and music at Doncaster Grammar School,  before reading classics at Durham and theology at Cambridge.

As a Methodist minister for over 40 years, he continued to develop his musical abilities and has specialised in accompaniment for lieder and in playing the organ for church services. In retirement he is active as an accompanist for vocal and instrumental soloists and choirs. He has many interests including gardening, bee-keeping and Leeds Rhinos.

Since 2014, the Kenwood-Reasbeck Duo has given recitals in many places, mainly in East, West and South Yorkshire, including Wakefield and Sheffield cathedrals, Rawdon Amnesty Series, Chester and Southport.
